The ITV's teaching is focused on the areas of turbulent and engine combustion. The curriculum includes lectures, exercises, laboratory experiments and seminars in the field of applied thermodynamics, combustion technology and combustion engines. The topics covered include processes of turbulent combustion, spray injection, engine tribology and diesel and gas engine combustion processes. Additionally, the curriculum addresses alternative fuels as potential energy sources for the future.
